Found a great site to practice some blood pressures on. My problem is that it’s hard for me to hear the right sounds unless I know what I’m listening for so the flash tutorial really helped with letting you hear the sounds and then try a few simulations. Give it a shot!
DISCLAIMER
There has been a lot of chatter in the blogosphere about medical bloggers and HIPAA regulations so let me make this very clear: NO EXAMPLES ARE BASED ON REAL PEOPLE!!! All names, locations, you name it, everything is changed! Any "patient" is a combination of multiples. These posts are not about you. OR anybody you know! I follow the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" laws of HIPPA.
Now then, lets learn together! My notes are written in plain english with much less medical jargon than people are used to. Medicine is serious business but studying shouldn't bore you to tears.
